Rockin' It Like a Rebel

My mother took one look at my denim pants and white shirt and quickly advised me to change. She asked me to find another option that would be more fitting to wear for the world premier of Ballet Manila's Rebel. So I chose this outfit.

Edgy Youthful Look

The occasion was special but I'm not up to a very formal look. I wanted to be presentable yet comfortable, something that would give me that edgy youthful look. Found this black dress which has been hanging in my closet for some time and paired it with my black boots.

When in Doubt, Wear Black

I always hear this from my mother whenever she is undecided about what to wear. It didn't surprise me at all that she chose to wear black slacks and black blouse. A green scarf was added to ward off the night chill and to add color to the outfit.

Fashionably Warm with My Fleece Jacket

There is one added reason why I love the cool weather in our place at early morning aside from the fact that I prefer cold weather over hot any time. It offers me the perfect excuse to wear my new fleece jacket to school. Never mind that that I have to keep it in my bag when the temperature starts to rise before lunch time.

My pink-colored fleece jacket has a hood design of one of Stitch's cousins. My choice for clothes pieces often go towards the more mature style. Obviously this time, the child in me won.

I accidentally found this jacket at Tees and Things in Paseo de Sta.Rosa while looking for a hanging shirt to use in our group dance. My mother and I didn't expect to see so many pretty clothes in what appears to be a very small store. I'm glad we decided to walk through that door to check out the merchandise. Now I know that I have a very accessible store to go for my clothing needs. 

Stylishly Relaxed in a Shift Dress and Sandal Slides

One of the most comfortable clothes any girl like me can slip into is the shift dress. Because of its typically simple style and loose fit with very little or no definition in the waist. I can dress up with minimum fuss to come out stylishly relaxed.

The style is so uncomplicated, it makes wearing a dress so much fun. Most girls my age tend to stay away from dresses in favor of shirt and pants. I personally prefer dresses unless I am doing an activity that would make wearing one clearly impractical. 

Paired with classy but equally comfortable sandal slides, you can't go wrong, just like the black Mendrez slides I bought from Zalora. No one can accuse you of careless dressing even without much effort being exerted in getting dressed. Go out stylishly relaxed with your own choice of shift dress and sandal slides.
