Something Old, Something New Series 2

What to wear, what to wear on a hot Saturday afternoon to watch the stage play Almost,Maine...that was my predicament. Solution: raid my mother's chest of "long unused but refused to part with clothes". Voila! I now have my Something Old , Something New Series 2.

Something Old

I actually have 2 pieces for my "something old". First is this mint green sleeveless blouse. It comes with the label George Machado for Jourdan Et Cie. I also borrowed my mom's old brooch for accent.

Second is this checkered mint green Kamiseta maxi skirt. I get to tie a ribbon at the back with this one. It snugly fits the waist but is flowy at the bottom.

Something New

My new mint green Rubi jelly sandal slides completes my easy yet classy look. It adds just the right casualness to my outfit. Aren't those hearts cute? I bought it online from Zalora about 2 months ago when I saw it was on sale.

So there, I survived another fashion dilemma just by looking at what we already have and pairing them off with a single newer item. Till next time.

  1. It's good that you know how to mix and match your clothes. Your mom doesn't mind you raiding her closet, right?
